Employment Opportunities

The Medinah Park District is always looking for qualified, enthusiastic individuals for a variety of part-time and seasonal positions.  Applications for part time employment are accepted year round.  Persons interested in instructing or supervising a recreation program should contact the Recreation Supervisor Frank Wendling at 630-893-2560.  Persons interested in working in our parks department should contact the Superintendent of Parks at 630-893-2560.  Applications may be picked up at the Connolly Recreation Center at 22W130 Thorndale Avenue or downloaded from this website.  The Medinah Park District is an equal opportunity employer.

Full Time Employment

There are currently no full time employment opportunities available.

Seasonal/Part-Time Employment

 - Part-time evening and weekend Building Supervisors.....the Park District is always accepting applications for year round part-time building supervisor positions.  Approximately 8-12 hours per week.  Work involves Connolly Recreation Center facility supervision, front desk/registration duties, light custodial and rental set up/take down responsibilities and District special event work.  Must be 16 years or older.  Positions available until filled.  Contact Program/Facility Operations Supervisor Scott Meyer at 630-893-2560 for further information and to discuss any possible open positions.  

- Permanent Part-time Front Office Receptionist..... permanent part-time job share position responsible for front line customer service duties that include answering telephones, greeting customers, accepting and inputting program registration, membership and rental information and fees, and providing office support to all full time staff.  The ideal candidates will be organized and detail oriented with customer service experience required.  Must be able to multi-task, have good verbal and written communication skills and strong computer skills for data entry.  This individual MUST HAVE a pleasant, friendly and upbeat professional manner.  This is a job share position of 20 hours per week, on average.  Please see the following job description for further requirements - Front Office Reception

The Park District is accepting applications through November 27, 2018.  Interviews of candidates will take place the week of December 3, 2018.  Approximate starting date for this position will be December 17, 2018.
