- 2021 THORNDALE PARK SLED HILL: Rules and Regulations: As the sled hill at Thorndale Park opens for the winter season, we remind park users about the safe use of this winter time facility. Park District ordinances set rules and regulations for this facility. The Sled Hill is open dawn to dusk and is weather dependent. 1) The building of ramps, hills or jumps is prohibited; 2) The possession of any snow removing device is prohibited; 3) No person will climb or cross the fencing on the back and sides of the Sled Hill or use the back or sides for sledding, snowboarding or tobogganing; 4) No person shall alter or remove any fencing or signage on or around the Thorndale Park Sled Hill. Also...as with all our outdoor facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Park District asks that all participants please practice appropriate social distancing and to have appropriate face coverings available if within 6 feet of other participants. ENJOY YOUR WINTER OUTDOOR SEASON at the SLED HILL !!
- CONNOLLY RECREATION CENTER hours have been enhanced with the addition of Saturday hours as of Saturday, September 12, 2020. The facility will be open to the public from 9:00am to 12:00pm on Saturdays to compliment the weekday facility hours of Mondays & Wednesdays from 7:00am - 6:00pm; Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9:00am - 7:00pm and Fridays from 7:00am - 5:00pm. Please call 630-893-2560 for ongoing up to date facility hours through the Winter of 2021.
