Rookies Basketball League
Grades 1st & 2nd
This is a co-ed program in cooperation with the Roselle Park District. The games are 5v5. Basketball hoops are at
8.5 feet along with a junior sized basketball. Each team will need a volunteer adult coach. Please let us know on
your registration form if you are interested in volunteering. Practices will start in December, 2023 with games
beginning in January, 2024. Away games will be played at the Roselle Park District on Thursday nights either at 6 or
7pm. A t-shirt will be included so please note proper size on the registration form. It’ll be slam dunk fun!
Fee: $74/$89 NR Min/Max: 6 – 10 players per team
Youth Basketball League
Grades 3rd – 8th
The Medinah Park District offers this recreational league for both boys and girls in grades 3 rd -8 th . Focus will center
on individual instruction, teamwork and friendly competition. Weekly practices begin in early December, 2023 and
games against other local park district teams start in January, 2024 and run through the middle of March. Games
are played at home and on the road. The Park District relies on volunteer coaches to help run this program. Please
indicate on your child’s registration form if you are interested in coaching a team.
Fee: $89/$104 NR + $23 jersey fee
Date: December 2023 – March 2024 Min/Max: 6 – 10 players per team
Co-Ed Youth Spring Soccer League
Ages 4 – 14
Enjoy the fun and excitement of league soccer! The Medinah Co-Ed Spring Youth Soccer League will participate in
the Mid-Suburban Soccer League. Other districts included are: Addison, Glendale Heights, Itasca, Roselle, Villa Park
and Wood Dale. This league promotes an atmosphere of enjoyment, teamwork and good sportsmanship while
learning and improving upon fundamental skills. Adult volunteers coach and instruct each team. Teams will be
formed immediately following the registration and deadline and volunteer coaches will be confirmed and
contacted.
Fee: $75/$90 NR + $25 jersey fee Date: April 2024 – June 2024 Min/Max: 6/10 players per team
$85/$100 NR after March 8th
